A list of ongoing and completed projects
The Town of Truro is often involved in new projects both large and small. From the development of the Pamet Park to the building of the Community Center. Check here for the latest information on the many projects the Town has undertaken.
Pamet Harbor Jetty Repair
The Jetty repair project at Pamet Harbor is to restore the North Jetty,
it is Phase Two of the Pamet Harbor Project. Phase One of the project
has also repaired the revetment that surrounds the parking lot and
resurfaced the Parking Lot. Stormwater run-off is not directed at the
ocean, but away from the ocean.
The Project was bid after a 10 Year Harbor Managementm Master Plan was
developed in December of 2006. Town Meeting, May 2009, awarded the
monies for repair. Emerald Excavating of Plymouth, MA was the successful
bidder for Phase One of the Project. Easy-Doze-It of Wellfleet was the
sucessful bidder for Phase Two, the Jetty repair. Work on Phase One was
completed in the spring of 2009. Easy-Doze-It will finish the Jetty
repair during the winter of 2010.
