The staff moved to the basement of the library in February of 2003.

A ground-breaking ceremony was held shortly thereafter, and construction proceeded well.

Town Hall was temporarily moved to the west so that excavation for the basement could proceed. The new wing was framed in August.



In November, the interior framing for the Building Department was progressing nicely. The familiar stairway was kept intact, and the upstairs ceiling replicates the original bow structure.



In February 2004, the exterior was nearing completion. Below, the building as seen facing west. Further, the new wing as viewed from the old COA parking lot. Third picture, the rear of Town Hall.
