Beach


The Recreation & Beach Department provides residents and visitors with year-round programs and activities for various demographics and is responsible for managing all town beaches. In addition, the Department oversees activities on Snow's Field and the Truro Central Schools field. The department's main office is located at the Truro Community Center (7 Standish Way, North Truro) that consists of an administrative office, a recreation lounge, and an all-purpose auditorium. Additionally, the center is home to Puma Park Playground and the Council on Aging. The department has an additional seasonal beach office located at 36 Shore Road, North Truro. 

The Town Manager will be the appointing authority.

Beach Stickers

Valid beach stickers are required on the third Saturday of June until Labor Day.

Purchasing Stickers

Buy beach stickers online starting April 1 or at the beach office during its seasonal hours of operation.

What You Will Need

  1. Valid vehicle registration for each vehicle with the applicant's name displayed on registration OR a lease listing the applicant as the lessee of the vehicle.
  2. Proof of ownership of property in Truro or proof of stay in Truro.
