Effective Friday, July 11, 2025, theTruro Recreation and Beach Departments' Paddle Craft Rack and Watercraft Storage Program is suspended at Corn Hill Beach and Great Hollow Beach. The racks at Corn Hill Beach and Great Hollow Beach, as well as the designated storage area on Corn Hill Beach, are currently available on a first-come, first-served basis, and no approval is needed. Individuals who obtained a permit will be contacted regarding their refund.
Corn Hill Beach
- CLOSED EFFECTIVE 5/29/25: Access for Off-Road Vehicles (ORV) at Corn Hill Beach has been closed due to shorebird activity. The entrance is currently locked to prevent vehicles from entering the ORV corridor. Watercraft storage individuals need to contact the Beach Office at (508)487-6983 to access the storage area on Corn Hill Beach.
- Paddle craft racks are located in the parking lot of Corn Hill Beach.
- Designated area to store watercraft; catamaran type sailing crafts, on the beach.
Great Hollow Beach
- Paddle craft racks will be placed in the parking lot of Great Hollow Beach.
