Community Art Gallery

You're invited to stop by the Truro Community Center to view our local artist's artwork. Each month Katie Thibodeau, Office Assistant for the Community Services Department, schedules the gallery for various artists. Artwork can be viewed Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 4 pm.

July Artist - Nancy Bloom

• Nancy Bloom is a professional nautical photographer, and her photos have been published in many sailing/boating magazines. Her work has won several of Cape Cod Life’s annual photo contests over the years, as well as numerous other photography awards on local, New England and international levels. Her passion is sailing photography, and she can often be seen in the photographer’s boat during large yachting events, including the Figawi Race and Great Provincetown Schooner Regatta. A former business education/technology teacher, she is a juried member of the Cape Cod Art Association. Nancy is an editor-at-large for Yachting Times (international) magazine and a freelance photographer for Gate House Media. Her work has been included in several Cape Cod exhibits as well as in ads featured in many local magazines.
